After abusing drugs and living on the streets, Georgia was ready to turn her life around. She came to Front Steps with her daughter in 2010 and they began the healing process as a family.

While at Front Steps, Georgia worked on her sobriety and was employed by Front Steps through the SOAR program, which enables residents to gain real-life work experience while earning a stipend. 

After submitting hundreds of applications, Georgia accepted a job at Einstein Bagels. Since beginning her job in 2013, Georgia has been promoted several times and is now a shift manager. 

Georgia and Delilah live in Lakewood, Ohio and continues to share share their story with others to spread awareness surrounding the issue of addiction. Georgia took full advantage of the Front Steps community and her hard work paid off — Front Steps is very proud of her!
